South Canterbury Update

You may start to see activity on the South Canterbury site soon - but this is not the start of construction. We’re carrying out initial soil investigations.  These are a crucial stage in preparing the area.

Before any building can begin, we need to carry out a soil (or Geotechnical) survey.  This will enable us to understand the physical properties of the land, specifically what kind of soil exists and how strong it is.

We'll take samples as we move through each layer of land. We will also monitor ground water levels over the winter months.

Soil investigations are a standard and vital part of any major development. The entire process is about safety, conservation, and ensuring that our project runs as smoothly and flawlessly as possible.

Stay informed. Get involved.

The last thing we want to do is carry out this process behind closed fences. We want to work with you every step of the way.
